Job summary

Alstom in Poland is seeking an HR Business Partner to lead People and Culture initiatives, advising managers and translating business needs into HR actions within a fast-growing environment. You will drive HR programs, corporate strategy deployment, and ensure policy compliance across units.

You will foster strong industrial relations, support performance management, and contribute to development activities while upholding equal opportunity and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in HR, psychology, business studies, social science or economy
• 5 years HR experience in a similar environment
• Generalist HR management across all HR domains
• Fluent in English and Polish (written and spoken)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Advise and support line managers and employees on HR matters
• Translate business needs into HR actions and delivery
• Deploy Corporate HR strategy and ensure policy compliance
• Develop and use HR metrics to measure performance
• Maintain good industrial relations with unions and social partners
• Supervise local HR to deliver day-to-day operational support
• Coach managers and drive development and performance reviews
• Contribute to development programs and training initiatives

• You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Alstom by People and Culture strategy implementation.Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, act as a trusted advisor on HR matters, and much more.
• We’ll look to you for:
  • • Being proximate to the business – both line managers and employees, in order to understand their issues and prepare HR actions to address them
    • Understanding and prioritising business needs, and translating them into HR actions and delivery
    • Implementing Corporate HR strategy
    • Ensuring that all policies and rules are followed according to the Delegation of Authority
    • Advicing, support and influencing management on all HR related issues, policies and processes.
    • Deploing ALPS, and assure sustainability of accuracy of data, developing and using metrics to measure HR performances
    • Assuring good Industrial Relations with unions and social partners in the site
    • Supervising local HR to deliver day to day operational support (People process, data accuracy, EHS policy)
    • Building managers’ ownership of the management of their people, including coaching at a senior level;
    • Implementing the Alstom performance management system;
    • Preparing & managing the annual People Review, including development plans and ensure feedback to individuals;
    • Defining and implementing the development activities appropriate to each individual, training programs, and measure their efficiency;

• University degree, majoring in human resources, psychology, business studies, social science or economy
• 5 years HR experience in a similar environment
• Generalist HR management experience covering all areas of HR management practice
• Influence and resilience within a matrix organization structure
• Professional expertise in employment law issues, redundancies, payroll and employee relations
• Fluent in the English and Polish language, written and spoken
