Alstom in Katowice, Poland, is seeking a Service System Engineering Manager to lead a team of highly skilled system engineers responsible for delivering reliable and secure services and infrastructure.

The role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and technical oversight to ensure ongoing operation and continuous improvement of critical services, collaborating with PM, QA, and Customer Support teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure or IT operations.
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience, including leading, coaching, and developing team members.
• Experience managing complex technical incidents and operational escalations.
• Fluency in Polish is a must, English – min. B2.

Your future role:

Take on a new challenge and apply Service System Engineering Manager, to lead a team of highly skilled system engineers responsible for delivering reliable and secure services. This role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and technical oversight to ensure the successful operation and continuous improvement of critical services and infrastructure.

You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll be pivotal in the Field Engineering of all Service PKP PLK Projects, ensuring the successful execution, investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical/quality issues. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (such as Project Management, Quality Assurance, and Customer Support).

We’ll look to you for:
