Job summary

sun.store is seeking a Head of Trading to scale a data-driven Direct trading business across European markets. You will build the trading organization, develop processes, and design tools that harness data to optimize pricing and match demand with supply.

You will own trading performance, negotiate with suppliers and buyers, and drive cross-border opportunities across solar, storage, electrical, and adjacent sectors. Hybrid work in Europe with strategic leadership exposure.

Qualifications

• Track record of profitable B2B trading or commercial deal making across multiple markets and industries.
• Experience in solar, storage, electrical products, electronics or adjacent sectors is valuable.
• Strong commercial judgment to discern real deals from opportunities.
• Comfort with data and using software/automation to scale commercial work.

Responsibilities

• Build a world-class trading organization and processes as the business grows.
• Develop trading team and operating processes.
• Create tools leveraging data to improve pricing, spot demand, and match with supply.
• Identify buying/selling opportunities across products and markets.
• Develop supplier/buyer relationships, negotiate terms, close deals.
• Own trading performance including gross profit, costs, credit exposure, and capital employed.
