Job summary

Traffit is exploring a distribution opportunity in solar, storage, electrical, and adjacent products within a European marketplace. We are seeking a Head of Distribution to assess the opportunity, build the team, and own the strategy and execution.

The role focuses on developing the distribution team, data-driven purchasing and pricing, and identifying markets and product categories where local distribution can win. Hybrid work setup with in-office presence in Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of building or scaling a distribution business in a related sector.
• Strong relationships with suppliers and an understanding of how professional buyers purchase.
• Experience managing product range, pricing, inventory and working capital.
• Judgment to test a market carefully and scale investment when economics are proven.
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on approach with data and a B2B marketplace mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop the distribution team and operating processes as the business grows.
• Develop tools to leverage data for purchasing, pricing, demand matching, and supply.
• Identify markets, segments and product categories for local distribution win.
• Build a repeatable sales operation serving installers and professional buyers.
• Define inventory, fulfillment and local logistics strategy at scalable levels.
• Own commercial results, inventory turns, working capital and profitability.
