Job summary

NedGraphics, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Lead to head QA for a remote, EU/UK-ready team. You will lead 5 QA engineers, shape QA strategy, and drive automation across desktop applications with AI-assisted testing tools. This senior role reports to VP of Engineering and collaborates across Product & Engineering.

You will mentor the team, define standards, and ensure quality gates are met throughout the development lifecycle in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a QA team and building or transforming QA functions
• Experience designing and executing QA strategy, not just following one
• Hands-on testing background with desktop UI testing
• Strong experience testing native desktop applications
• Working knowledge of a UI desktop test framework (WinAppDriver, Appium, Squish)
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting for test automation
• Ability to integrate automation into wider build flows with CI/CD
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across orgs
• Experience across multiple time zones with global teams
• Proven track record of improving QA processes and delivering measurable results

Responsibilities

• Design and own the QA strategy across NedGraphics and Optitex product portfolios
• Lead a transformation to automation-first, AI-enabled QA operation with a roadmap
• Build a quality-focused culture within the team and across engineering
• Establish standards, processes, and quality gates for releases
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to integrate QA throughout the lifecycle
• Set direction for the team and develop individuals to reach potential
• Hands-on testing, defect analysis, and contribution to test design
