Job summary

Appfire in Poland is seeking a Manager of Quality Assurance to lead a 800+ team of QA engineers, shaping the roadmap, priorities, and quality practices for our software products. You will drive test automation, frameworks, and processes while coaching a high-performing, psychologically safe team across remote environments.

You will partner with engineering to shift testing left, promote clean code, and continuously improve quality.

Qualifications

Experience leading QA or test engineering teams, with coaching and career development responsibilities.
Strong track record in UI and API test automation using modern tools.
Experience defining test automation strategies aligned with DevOps and modern software practices.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop the QA team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Define the QA roadmap, OKRs, priorities, and project plans aligned with engineering goals.
Monitor quality metrics, coverage, and productivity to drive improvements.
Improve test framework architecture, automation, and coverage with best practices.
Partner with engineering to shift testing left and enhance testability and maintainability.
Promote QA best practices, test pyramid, clean code, and sustainable quality processes.
Manage capacity, staffing, tools, and priorities to meet delivery timelines.
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational change and align with business goals.
