Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a Head of Engineering for Sales & Marketing Tools to oversee a critical in-house platform (MonieCRM) supporting a vast field sales network. You will lead a high‑impact engineering team through modernisation of a distributed system at scale, ensuring financial correctness and reliability.

The role requires 10–15 years in software engineering, 5+ years in Java production, and a track record of managing managers. Fintech experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development.
• Experience managing managers and leading an engineering organisation.
• Proven platform engineering experience at scale with distributed systems.
• Experience migrating and re-architecting large-scale systems for 20M+ users.
• Strong backend skills in high-throughput distributed systems; proficient in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and managing large engineering teams (20+ members).
• Fintech/payments background is preferred; CRM or SalesTech is not required.

Responsibilities

• Modernise legacy systems through re-architecture for reliability and scale.
• Own the platform behind the commercial engine, including commissions, payouts, wallets, and ledgers.
• Lead and grow a large engineering organisation with multiple managers and senior engineers.
• Ensure platform reliability and performance at multi‑market scale for a growing agent network.
• Collaborate with product and business to deliver a dependable sales and marketing tooling stack (e.g., Braze).
