Moniepoint Group in Poland is seeking a Head of Engineering, POS Supply Chain to steer the software estate for inventory, logistics, and repair management. You will lead a distributed engineering organization, shape technical strategy, and drive platformisation while partnering with business stakeholders to support rapid growth across markets.

The role requires deep backend expertise, a product-minded approach, and proven experience scaling teams of 20+ engineers, including managers.

Qualifikationen

• 10-15 years of overall software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java experience as a practising engineer.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing managers.
• Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse or logistics software at scale.
• Fintech or regulated-industry experience with understanding of device management in payments.
• Strong backend engineering skills for data-intensive, distributed systems.
• Proven system design ability at large scale, managing hundreds of thousands of devices.
• Experience managing and developing large engineering teams of 20+ members.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical leaders.
• Product-minded approach to solving operational problems with engineering solutions.

Aufgaben

• Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools.
• Lead an engineering organisation of ~25 engineers, including managers, QA, SRE and Data Eng.
• Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems for data visibility and consistency.
• Bridge operational practices with software systems through disciplined solutions.
• Define architecture standards, processes and quality metrics across squads.
• Collaborate with business and operations to translate needs into engineering solutions.
• Hire, mentor and develop engineering managers and senior engineers for growth to 30+.
