Job summary

Nigel Frank International is seeking a hands-on Head of Delivery to lead delivery excellence across multiple client projects in Poland. This is a practical, delivery-focused leadership role with involvement in customer engagements, technical discussions, resource planning and day-to-day problem solving.

You will mentor delivery teams, drive processes, monitor performance, manage risks, and collaborate with senior leadership on planning and improvement initiatives, ensuring high-quality outcomes

We are looking for a hands-on Head of Delivery to join an established technology organisation, taking ownership of delivery excellence, operational performance, and team development.

This is a practical, delivery-focused leadership role for someone who is comfortable getting directly involved in customer engagements, technical discussions, project delivery, resource planning, and day-to-day problem solving - rather than focusing solely on high-level management.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the successful delivery of multiple client projects and engagements.
• Stay closely involved in day-to-day delivery, supporting teams with technical, operational, and client-related challenges.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements, define scope, manage expectations, and resolve delivery issues.
• Provide technical and commercial input during pre-sales, project scoping, and delivery discussions.
• Plan and prioritise resources across projects, ensuring the right skills and capacity is available.
• Develop and improve delivery processes, standards, and ways of working.
• Support, mentor, and develop technical delivery teams.
• Work with senior leadership on operational planning, recruitment, budgeting, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor delivery performance, identify risks, and implement practical improvements to quality and efficiency.

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience in a Head of Delivery, Delivery Manager, Delivery Director, or similar leadership role within a technology consulting, professional services, or systems integration environment, ideally within a partner-led ecosystem.
• Strong technical understanding with the ability to engage confidently in hands-on technical and delivery discussions.
• Experience managing technical teams and complex client-facing projects.
• A track record of remaining close to delivery while leading and developing teams.
• Experience with resource planning, project prioritisation, and delivery performance management.
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience contributing to pre-sales, solution scoping, or technical discovery would be valuable.
• A practical, problem-solving approach with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills in Polish and English.
