Job summary

Orbus Software is seeking an experienced Development Manager for Architecture and DevOps to lead two specialist engineering squads responsible for the technical foundations and development experience of OrbusInfinity.

You will provide strategic, people-first leadership, owning backlog and roadmaps, and ensuring alignment with the wider technology strategy. The role is fully remote, based in Poland, with occasional in-person events; employs a permanent contract with the Polish entity.

Qualifications

Proven experience leading software engineering teams.
Experience in software architecture and design decisions.
Strong ability to manage priorities, roadmaps and delivery risks.
Familiarity with DevOps culture and cloud operations.
Fluency in English for team communication.

Responsibilities

Lead Architecture and DevOps squads, guiding performance and career development.
Own backlog prioritisation and roadmap decisions for both squads.
Maintain visibility of commitments, progress, risks and dependencies.
Drive architectural governance and platform design for OrbusInfinity.
Foster a culture of reliability, self-service tooling and continuous delivery across teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers and senior leadership to align priorities.
