Job summary

Arche Consulting Sp. z o.o. seeks a Senior Software Architect to drive architectural direction across multiple teams on a global banking and payments project. You will design platform-wide solutions, establish standards, and guide strategic technical decisions.

The role requires 10+ years in software development, deep Java/Spring Boot and Angular experience, and strong English communication. Expect occasional on-site presence in Poland and collaboration with international teams.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development, incl. 6+ years with Java/Spring Boot.
• Expert knowledge of Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x and Angular 18+.
• Strong experience designing scalable microservices and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

design and deliver platform-level and cross-team technical solutions,

advise Engineering Leads and Architects on technical feasibility and solution design,

evaluate and introduce technologies, frameworks and tools that improve quality, performance and developer productivity,

act as a technical escalation point for complex architectural and cross-team challenges.

Requirements

university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field,

10+ years of professional software development experience, including 6+ years with Java/Spring Boot,

expert knowledge of Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.x and Angular 18+,

strong experience designing scalable applications, microservices and REST APIs, including API contract management,

advanced knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and SQL, including performance and scalability optimization,

strong understanding of software design principles: SOLID, Clean Architecture, DDD and REST,

experience influencing architecture and technical standards beyond a single team,

experience with Maven, Git and CI/CD processes,

ability to translate high-level business and technical requirements into scalable architectural solutions,

excellent English communication skills, with the ability to present technical decisions and trade-offs to senior stakeholders.

Nice to have: Docker/Kubernetes, JUnit 5, Mockito, arc42/C4, DevSecOps, observability and React Native.

B2B contract,

minimum one day per month of on-site presence in the office (Warszawa, Gdansk, Wroclaw, Lodz, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin, Lublin, Rzeszow and Poznan) and periodic on-site presence in Warsaw for planning and collaboration sessions,
