Job summary

Philips in Łódź is seeking an entry-level Transport Specialist to help move finished products globally. You will plan across road, air, ocean, and multimodal transport and collaborate with Order Management, carriers, and the warehouse to ensure timely delivery.

The role emphasizes learning, initiative, and communication in English, with opportunities to grow in a developing transport function within a multinational health tech company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Excellent English communication with colleagues worldwide.
• Willingness to learn and develop in an entry-level transport role.
• Strong collaboration across Order Management, carriers and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain short-term transportation plans for finished products.
• Calculate transportation capacity and requirements using logistics systems.
• Monitor shipment status and communicate delays and updates to internal teams and partners.
• Maintain accurate master and transactional data in logistics systems.
• Investigate daily exceptions and propose improvements to reduce disruptions.
• Support transport-sourcing decisions by analyzing capacity and cost-effective options.
• Coordinate introduction of new destinations into transportation plans.
• Facilitate daily inbound operations, including ASN checks and rework coordination.
• Perform interface checks across SAP, Infodis/TMID, LSP, and WMS.
• Review service-provider performance and support corrective actions.
