Job summary

Greif is seeking a seasoned regulatory compliance professional to manage UN-related programs and ensure product safety alignment across regions. You will lead training initiatives, act as the UN expert for EMEA/APAC, and audit transport regulations at production locations.

The role involves developing materials, guiding internal teams and external customers on packaging standards, and coordinating with the regulatory compliance team to implement robust controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience with packaging manufacturing regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods (ADR, CFR 49, UN Orange Book).
• 5–7 years in a related role; 10+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains training programs and materials for UN-related training roles.
• Manages UN/ADR/DOT regulatory modules across EMEA/APAC regions.
• Acts as UN expert for EMEA/APAC, answering questions and providing guidance.
• Audits regulatory compliance with applicable transport regulations at production sites.
• Provides product technical guidance on materials selection, design, manufacturing, testing, and problem solving.
