Job summary

Energizer Holdings in Poland seeks an Associate Manager, Global Trade Compliance – EU/UK to lead the regional trade compliance organization for Europe and the UK. You will support strategy development, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value and cost savings.

The role drives regional training, policy shaping, and oversight of regulatory advocacy efforts, while serving as the liaison with regional authorities and external counsel where required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 3+ years (or Bachelor’s with 5+ years) in trade compliance or related field.
• Formal leadership experience required.
• EU and/or UK Import and Export trade compliance experience essential.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional trade compliance team and provide leadership oversight for all direct reports.
• Collaborate to develop innovative trade compliance solutions for Energizer’s European and UK markets.
• Provide guidance on regional implementation of trade compliance processes, training, and tools.
• Interpret and apply complex global import/export laws and regulations.
• Mentor and oversee professional development of the regional team.
• Support internal audits/assessments and coordinate with internal/external counsel as needed.
• Maintain partnerships with third-party providers to deliver executional excellence.
• Support regional customs brokerage maturation to meet KPIs and business needs.
• Develop and deliver country-specific trade compliance awareness training.
• Loster regional regulatory activities with Government Affairs and act as Energizer liaison to regional authorities.
• Assist in implementing tools to manage import/export risk and ensure proactive risk mitigation.
