Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals seeks a Senior Director, Global Payroll Operations to lead in-country payroll teams and partner with HR, Finance, and IT. You will drive operational excellence, governance and a standardized, digitally enabled payroll model across 30,000 employees globally.

You will own the global payroll strategy, oversee vendor relationships, and ensure compliance, data privacy, and continuous improvement through automation and AI-enabled support.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of multi-country payroll experience in a large multinational.
• Experience leading global teams and driving transformation.
• Proven vendor-management and contract governance skills.
• Knowledge of payroll governance, SOX, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into executive insight.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll delivery across countries with governance and controls.
• Develop and execute a multi-year global payroll strategy and operating model.
• Modernize and digitalize payroll solutions, reducing complexity.
• Enhance employee experience via self-service, analytics and AI-enabled support.
• Oversee integration of new countries, providers and process changes.
• Manage budgets, transformation business cases and cost improvements.
• Lead and develop global payroll teams and ensure succession planning.
• Ensure SOX compliance, audit readiness and data privacy.
