Job summary

OLX is seeking a mid-level Network Engineer to join the Global BIT Infrastructure team. You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of OLX's global LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring high availability and secure operations across multiple countries.

We value automation, scripting, and collaboration with IT Operations, Security, and Engineering. 100% remote work is available, with optional offices in Poznan and Warsaw.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise office networks and Meraki/Cisco stacks.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, VLANs, firewalls.
• Ability to script in Python/PowerShell/Bash and automate with IaC.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN/WAN across global offices.
• Manage security of network services including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues (WiFi, VPN, WAN) and drive resolution.
• Monitor network health, identify threats, and lead incident responses.
• Participate in change management and assess security/operational impact of changes.
• Produce high-quality network runbooks and architecture diagrams.
