Job summary

Syngenta is seeking a proactive Global Mobility payroll professional to own international assignee payroll operations, ensure accuracy and compliance worldwide, and drive governance, tools, and improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with payroll teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data quality, process automation (Power Automate), and HR systems experience (Topia preferred), with a focus on operational excellence and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification.
• 5-8 years' experience in Global Mobility, international payroll, reward, tax or a related field.
• Strong understanding of international-assignee payroll, payroll controls, tax concepts, shadow payroll and compensation processes.
• Good understanding of Global Mobility, compensation, tax and social security interactions.
• Experience analysing payroll data, resolving issues and driving operational excellence.
• Proven experience leading projects, process improvements or systems initiatives.
• Experience with Global Mobility technology and HR systems; Topia experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills; Power Automate experience is a plus.
• Analytical and collaborative, with strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and compliant international assignee payroll across multiple countries.
• Coordinate payroll, Global Mobility and external partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Own Global Mobility systems, data quality, testing and continuous improvement.
• Manage system changes, supplier relationships and operational issue resolution.
• Provide reporting, analytics and controls that support effective decision-making.
• Lead payroll projects, automation initiatives and process improvements.
• Build strong partnerships with payroll, technology and external providers.
