Job summary

Hager Group seeks a Global Process Owner – Manufacturing Data Management to define, govern, and improve the global manufacturing data landscape across Operations. You will align system data with real processes to enable reliable decision-making and scalable digital execution at all sites.

The role requires Lean and data governance expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong manufacturing background to translate governance into practical shopfloor solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in manufacturing, operations, industrial, or data environments.
• Hands-on expertise in Manufacturing data (work centers, routings, capacity).
• Understanding of MES architectures and data flows.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement exposure.
• Experience in data governance, master data management, or digital transformation.
• Structured and analytical with complex interdependencies.
• Ability to operate in a global cross-functional environment.
• Background in manufacturing engineering, industrialisation, or production.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern global standards and principles for Manufacturing data.
• Act as functional Data Owner for Manufacturing data, including governance rules.
• Own and structure work center, routing, and capacity data models across plants.
• Ensure end-to-end alignment between system data and operational reality.
• Drive data quality, consistency, and performance transparency via KPIs.
• Manage data lifecycle, ownership, and change governance across network.
• Prioritise new data requirements with Process Owners, Ops, and IT.
• Represent Manufacturing in cross-functional data governance forums.
• Support plants in improving data accuracy and system usage.
• Build and sustain capabilities in Manufacturing data and Lean practices.
