Job summary

Takeda is seeking an Associate Director, Global Process Manager – Intake to Contract in Lodz, Poland. You will lead the global Need-to-Contract process, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure a compliant, user-friendly buying experience.

You will drive end-to-end process performance, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, and IT, and shape multi-year transformation roadmaps for Source-to-Pay operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Law, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of procurement, sourcing, contracting, procurement operations, or global process management.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay lifecycle and its connections.
• Hands-on procurement technologies, e.g., SAP Ariba or similar.
• Business proficiency in English; additional languages are asset.

Responsibilities

• Shape the global Need-to-Contract strategy, operating model, governance framework, and multi-year roadmap.
• Serve as Takeda’s global process expert for Intake-to-Contract and advise on design, governance, and controls.
• Own end-to-end subprocess performance including adoption, cycle time, compliance, and risk management.
• Develop and evolve the global Need-to-Contract core model, procedures, and documentation.
• Translate strategy into actionable standards, roadmaps, and technology requirements.
• Lead governance forums and drive timely decision-making on process, policy, risk, and investments.
• Design and improve the guided-buying experience and appropriate purchasing channels.
• Establish global standards, decision rights, and performance expectations across regions.
• Drive process improvements based on value, compliance, and technology dependencies.
• Develop business cases and investment recommendations for transformation.
