Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a hands-on Lead, Events Technology to drive end-to-end technical planning for global in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.

You will manage production tech, oversee external vendors, design signal routing, coordinate logistics, and ensure operational readiness across complex environments. Proficiency in AV and live streaming is essential, with international travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years in audiovisual support, event production, or technical event operations.
• Experience with live, hybrid, virtual, webcast, streaming, or broadcast event technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot audiovisual systems and production technologies in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning and execution of global in-person, virtual, and hybrid events.
• Manage event production technologies including audio, video, lighting, live streaming, webcast, broadcast, and hybrid platforms.
• Oversee relationships with external production companies, event technology providers, venues, agencies, and vendors.
• Design and manage signal routing, technical workflows, and production operations across complex event environments.
• Coordinate event logistics and technical planning, including show flow development, staffing, transportation, and schedules.
• Organise and support video production and broadcast activities.
• Identify and evaluate emerging event technologies and production best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to internal teams, vendors, and staff.
• Maintain event production equipment, inventory, and readiness.
