Job summary

Clifford Chance LLP in Warsaw is seeking an experienced HR and payroll professional to join our global team. You will administer hiring, payroll, contracts, and employee data, ensuring compliance with Polish labor law and tax rules.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in independent HR and payroll role.
• Strong knowledge of labor law, social insurance regulations, and personal income tax rules relevant to payroll.
• Experience working with HR and payroll systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities under time pressure, and take ownership of tasks.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR processes related to hiring, employment changes, personal data updates, and employee/contractor terminations.
• Manage employee overtime and payroll calculations.
• Review working time records and maintain related documentation.
• Prepare employment contracts, annexes, and certificates.
• Coordinate civil law and B2B contracts and related documentation.
• Maintain payroll data and perform salary-related calculations.
• Prepare payments related to salaries and statutory obligations.
• Administer employee benefits (medical, sports cards).
• Maintain payroll records, tax filings, and social insurance documentation.
• Handle remote work requests and related documentation.
• Prepare employment and income certificates.
• Prepare periodic tax and social insurance settlements and filings.
• Prepare PFRON settlements and statistical reports for GUS.
• Review and update internal HR policies.
• Stay updated on labor and social insurance law changes.
• Prepare internal reports and summaries.
