Job summary

AstraZeneca plc Warsaw is seeking a Senior Director for Clinical Study & Supply Planning to lead a global organisation responsible for end-to-end supply planning and study execution across the development portfolio.

You will partner with Senior leaders across Clinical, CMC, Quality and Regulatory to align supply planning with enterprise objectives, drive continuous improvement, and ensure uninterrupted patient supply in a hybrid work model (3+2).

Qualifications

• At least 10+ years of leadership in (clinical) supply chain or clinical operations.
• Experience leading large, global organisations and leaders.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to drive transformation and cross-functional decision making.
• Proven financial and inventory optimisation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver integrated Clinical Study & Supply Planning strategy.
• Own operating model across Supply Planning with clear roles and escalation paths.
• Ensure constrained, optimised supply plans across API to kits.
• Oversee programme-level supply planning, inventory strategy and order release.
• Ensure excellence in study lifecycle management from setup to closure.
• Drive risk management and timely issue resolution impacting patient supply.
• Lead portfolio performance for on-time, in-full delivery of clinical supplies.
• Oversee inventory optimisation and shelf-life extension to minimise waste.
• Maintain GMP/GCP compliance and inspection readiness.
