Job summary

BD is a global medical technology company hiring a Finance FP&A professional for the Wroclaw location. The role focuses on implementing FP&A practices, managing the BU P&L and collaborating with BP&A and SGA analysts on financial areas.

You will oversee monthly close processes, ensure data accuracy and coordinate with Global Reporting for specific reports, while supporting strategic meetings with country leaders and optimizing value discovery within the BU.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or similar role.
• Experience with full P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, revenue and expense analysis.
• Strong financial analysis and financial modeling skills.
• Experience working in a multinational, matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute FP&A practices within the BU, focusing on simplification and standardization.
• Manage the FP&A calendar and coordinate with BU Hub organizations.
• Oversee BU P&L and reports, including Hub, EMEA, and WW package segments.
• Collaborate with BP&A BU Analysts and SGA Analysts on financial areas.
• Ensure data accuracy and provide reliable information to stakeholders.
• Serve as liaison with Global Reporting Team for specific reports.
• Support BU Controller in monitoring P&L performance.
• Communicate with CBLs, SGA Analysts, and Comm Ops Analysts on Revenue, GP and SGA figures.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Team on inventory and shipping matters.
• Partner with Country Business Leaders in preparing and validating financials.
• Conduct calls/meetings with CBLs for ASR, Budget, and Projection alignment.
• Engage in month-end close activities for MEC purposes.
• Identify and manage country/hub-specific risks and opportunities.
• Participate in BU cross-finance projects evaluating P&L and ROI.
• Identify and capitalize on value opportunities within the BU.
