Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. in Kraków seeks a strategic Facility Management Category Manager to lead global sourcing for hard and soft FM services across international sites. You will collaborate with Real Estate, Facility Management, HSE, Finance, Legal and procurement teams to optimize delivery and drive value.

The role requires deep FM knowledge, strong commercial judgment and the ability to influence stakeholders across countries and functions. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (see below).
• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management or supplier management.
• Experience managing facility service categories across multiple countries or sites.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global category strategy for hard and soft FM categories.
• Lead sourcing for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services; drive cost efficiencies and supplier relationships.
• Analyze spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers, risks and FM technologies.
• Lead multi-country sourcing from market engagement to contracting and implementation.
• Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation and KPI-driven performance management.
• Manage supplier relationships through scorecards, reviews and governance.
• Establish commercial models, scopes of work, pricing mechanisms and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and quality requirements in supplier relationships.
• Promote innovation in FM with AI, IoT, CAFM/CMMS, predictive maintenance and energy management.
