Job summary

Hitachi Energy Services SP. Z O.O. seeks a strategic Facility Management Category Manager to lead global sourcing strategies for facility services across manufacturing sites, offices, and operational facilities.

You will collaborate with Real Estate, HSE, Finance and Legal teams to optimize service delivery and supplier performance while ensuring continuity and value creation. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years in strategic sourcing or category management within industrial environments, with

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Facility Management, Real Estate, Finance)
8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management or supplier management
Experience leading complex facility service categories across multiple countries or sites
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy or similarly complex environments

Responsibilities

Develop and implement global category strategy for hard and soft facility management services
Lead sourcing and procurement for Integrated Facility Management (IFM) services
Analyze spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers and risks
Lead multi-country sourcing initiatives from market engagement to contract implementation
Drive cost optimization, supplier consolidation and performance management
Establish commercial models, KPIs, SLAs and continuous-improvement commitments
Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and quality requirements
Promote innovation through AI, IoT, CAFM/CMMS and energy management
