Job summary

Revvity, a global developer of end-to-end scientific solutions, seeks an experienced accountant to manage US GAAP general accounting and local books. You will execute monthly closes, support audits, and maintain SOX controls while preparing balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities include cross-functional projects, analysis of variances, and ensuring compliance with standards. Hybrid office in Cracow with strong growth opportunities within a global SSC environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fluent in English language required.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience with full cycle GL accounting.
• Experience in month end closing and independent ledger management.
• Knowledge of SAP FI and Oracle financial systems; advanced Excel skills.
• Preferred SSC experience and process-driven mindset.

• Participate in cross-functional projects for growth opportunities.
• Analyze financial trends and variances for leadership decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and strong internal controls.
• Prepare Local GAAP annual financial statements and local fiscal reporting (VAT/Intrastat/EC List).
• Engage in process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Managing US GAAP general accounting and local books,

• Identify and document accounting issues while staying current on technical accounting pronouncements and guidance.
• Participate in cross-functional projects both within and outside assigned accounting areas, building expertise for future growth opportunities.
• Analyse financial trends and variances that help leadership make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Preparation of Local GAAP Annual Financial statements
• Prepare\manage the local fiscal reporting including VAT\Intrastat\EC List \ ecc
• Participate in process improvement projects that enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fluent in English language required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with full cycle general ledger accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in month end closing and maintaining a ledger independently
• Knowledge of MS Office and financial systems (SAP FI, Oracle),
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy,
• Preferred experience within a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Professional, goal-oriented, and well-organized work approach.
• Process-driven mindset with flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests
