Job summary

Orifarm in Warsaw is seeking a General Ledger Associate Accountant to maintain the general ledger, perform reconciliations, support closing activities, and assist in preparing financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

The role covers journal entries, account reconciliation, audit support, fixed assets, VAT reporting, and collaboration with AP/AR teams. The position offers a hybrid work model in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Educational background in accountancy or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in general ledger or finance operations.
• Experience with multinational, multi-site operations is beneficial.
• Attention to detail in financial data entry and reconciliations.
• Time management to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of fundamental principles.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Compliance knowledge related to accounting.
• Numerical proficiency for calculations and reconciliations.
• System knowledge – SAP and AX beneficial, though not required.
• German language knowledge or experience working for the German market is an asset.
• Collaboration with AP/AR and other finance teams.
• Adaptability to changing requirements and procedures.
• Team player reliability.
• Ability to identify issues and drive solutions.
