Job summary

Revvity is expanding its finance team in Krakow and seeks a Financial Accountant fluent in German. You will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including VAT and statutory filings, while performing variance analysis to aid budgeting and forecasting.

In this role you will oversee general ledger activities, assist with month-end closing, and participate in internal audits, cost center reporting, and profitability assessments, leveraging ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Fluent German.

Responsibilities

Job Role and Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including statutory sales analysis in Switzerland.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to assist in budgeting and forecasting.
• Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and inventory file analysis.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including expense allocations and cost center reporting.
• Support statutory filings such as VAT, intrastat, and audit documentation, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
• Aid in annual budgeting, capital expenditure review, and profitability assessments.
• Maintain documentation and support internal and external audit activities to ensure compliance.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
• Fluent German.
