Job summary

Revvity is seeking a skilled accountant to manage US GAAP general accounting and local books. You will execute monthly close procedures, assist audits, and ensure SOX compliance while maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations.

The role requires 3+ years of GL experience, fluency in English, and proficiency with SAP FI and Oracle, combined with strong Excel capabilities. Hybrid work options are available in Cracow and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Fluent in English required.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience with full cycle GL accounting.
• Experience with month-end close and independent ledgers.
• Knowledge of SAP FI and Oracle preferred.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage US GAAP general accounting and local books.
• Execute monthly close: entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Document accounting issues and keep current on pronouncements.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with standards and internal controls.
• Prepare Local GAAP annual financial statements and VAT/Intrastat reports.
• Contribute to broader finance initiatives and accuracy.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Managing US GAAP general accounting and local books,
• Execute monthly close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate reporting.
• Support annual audit processes, statutory audits, and maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify and document accounting issues while staying current on technical accounting pronouncements and guidance.
• Participate in cross-functional projects both within and outside assigned accounting areas, building expertise for future growth opportunities.
• Analyse financial trends and variances that help leadership make informed decisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Preparation of Local GAAP Annual Financial statements
• Prepare\manage the local fiscal reporting including VAT\Intrastat\EC List \ ecc
• Participate in process improvement projects that enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial operations.

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Fluent in English language required
• 3+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with full cycle general ledger accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in month end closing and maintaining a ledger independently
• Knowledge of MS Office and financial systems (SAP FI, Oracle),
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy,
• Preferred experience within a Shared Service Centre environment.
• Professional, goal-oriented, and well-organized work approach.
• Process-driven mindset with flexibility to accommodate ad hoc requests
