Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Junior HR Support Specialist to act as the first line of contact for employees and managers, handling HR queries in German and English with accuracy and confidentiality.

You will support policies, payroll, benefits, onboarding, and data management in HRIS systems, while collaborating with colleagues in a multinational environment. This hybrid role includes office days and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Fluent in German (C1 or higher) and good command of English (B2 or higher).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Any additional HR training/certifications are a plus.
• Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive HR data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees, managers, and external partners via phone, email, or HR ticketing tools.
• Provide accurate information on HR policies, payroll, benefits, leave management, and onboarding.
• Process and maintain employee data in the HRIS system (e.g., SAP HR, Workday, SuccessFactors).
• Ensure employee records are accurate, complete, and compliant with data protection standards (GDPR).
• Escalate complex cases to Second Line HR or specialized teams when necessary.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to optimize HR service delivery.
• Support HR reporting and documentation as needed.
