Job summary

Nordea is modernizing its AI and API platform with a hybrid work model across Helsinki or Gdańsk. We seek a hands-on fullstack developer to build and evolve the self-service portal, integrating backend and frontend services, and enabling scalable API and AI-enabled integrations.

You will collaborate with DevOps, UI/UX, product owners, and architects to deliver production-ready capabilities while advancing AI-driven features like LLMs, MCP and A2A.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components of the self-service portal, and implementing new capabilities.
• Build backend services using Spring Boot.
• Create frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors.
• Designing and consuming REST APIs to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-structured service interfaces.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
• Contributing to future AI-driven features and integrations within the platform, supporting LLMs, MCP, and A2A.
