Job summary

EY is seeking a Forward-Deployed Data and AI Architect in Warszawa (Poland) to shape the technical direction of our AI-enabled projects from day one. You will work with clients and engineering teams across data processing, AI/ML workflows, and agentic AI systems.

You will evaluate tools across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and define target architectures that move validated prototypes into production, while ensuring compliance with GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in software, data or AI engineering and architecture.
• Track record designing data/AI/ML or agentic systems towards production.
• Strong multi-cloud architecture skills across Azure/AWS/GCP.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to shape data and AI solution architectures from discovery to prototype.
• Make fast, pragmatic tech decisions balancing speed and scalability.
• Define target architectures and path to production for prototypes.
• Ensure secure, compliant data handling from the start (EU AI Act, GDPR, DORA).
• Evaluate tools/frameworks across data, AI/ML, and agentic AI for fit.
• Translate business intent into actionable engineering direction.
• Develop reusable blueprints and accelerators for future projects.
• Identify technical risk and inform build/pivot/stop decisions.
• Align delivery with enterprise standards and reference architectures.
• Present and defend technical direction to senior client stakeholders.
