Job summary

EY Poland is seeking a Forward-Deployed Data &AI Engineer to work embedded with client teams, turning real-world data into practical AI solutions. You will prototype pipelines, build GenAI workflows, and iterate quickly in an agile setting, delivering value from data to deployment.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, address data quality and governance, and contribute to scalable accelerators, while advancing AI capabilities for financial services clients in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Senior position requires approximately 3+ years of hands-on data/AI/software engineering experience (or a master’s with ~2 years).
• Strong Python and SQL, with experience building data pipelines and AI/ML or GenAI solutions.
• Experience with LLM/agent frameworks (e.g., Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Agent Service, LangChain, LangGraph, Bedrock Agents) and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG).
• End-to-end data work: profiling, wrangling, integrating and modelling messy data.
• Hands-on cloud experience: Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Work embedded with client business teams to understand problems and turn them into end‑to‑end data/AI solutions.
• Profile, wrangle, and stand up lightweight data pipelines and integrations for prototypes.
• Design and demonstrate AI/ML workflows, GenAI and agentic‑AI solutions on cloud services.
• Iterate quickly on feedback; build, demo, learn, and refine ideas.
• Distill data and solution requirements, data mappings and de‑risked designs.
• Build with data quality, privacy, and governance in mind (EU AI Act, GDPR).
• Collaborate with Tech Lead, architects and stakeholders.
• Contribute to reusable accelerators, connectors and engineering practices.
