Job summary

ALTEN Polska seeks an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design and deliver LLM-based solutions for enterprise clients. You will bridge architecture discussions, hands-on development, and stakeholder conversations from Poland or hybrid from Gdańsk.

You will work with LangChain, LangGraph, DSPy, and Pydantic, building multi-model AI systems, CI/CD, and MLOps practices, while mentoring teams and translating business needs into scalable tech.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years IT-relevant experience
• Very good Python knowledge, hands‑on LLM production experience
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, DSPy, and Pydantic
• Hands‑on experience with vector databases
• Experience designing solution architecture and implementing automated testing and CI/CD processes
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and computer architecture
• Experience evaluating RAG solutions using RAGAS
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tooling
• Nice to have low-level programming (drivers, firmware)
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Good English, at least B2/B2+

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with customers to understand business challenges and translate them into scalable AI-driven solutions
• Act as an AI advisor and mentor, supporting engineering teams with best practices and technical guidance
• Design and implement LLM-based applications, including RAG pipelines, workflows, and enterprise AI solutions
• Build and optimize agent-based systems with orchestration, tool usage, and human-in-the-loop capabilities
• Work with both commercial and open-source LLMs in multi-model environments
• Integrate machine learning models and AI components into larger software ecosystems
• Review, validate, and improve AI solutions developed by other engineers
• Contribute to solution architecture, testing strategies, CI/CD processes, and MLOps practices

We're looking for someone who enjoys being close to both the technology and the customer, and who can confidently move between architecture discussions, hands‑on development, and stakeholder conversations.

Fully remote work (from Poland) or hybrid from Gdańsk - you choose!

Requirements:

• At least 6-7 years of IT-relevant experience
• Very good knowledge of Python, including hands‑on experience implementing LLM-based solutions in production environments
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, DSPy, and Pydantic
• Hands‑on experience working with vector databases
• Experience designing solution architecture and implementing automated testing and CI/CD processes
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and computer architecture
• Experience evaluating RAG solutions using RAGAS
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and tooling
• Experience with low-level programming (drivers, firmware) - nice to have
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Good English, at least B2/B2+
