Job summary

ALTEN Polska in Kraków is seeking a firmware/software engineer to develop and maintain embedded applications. You will design and implement C++ software for ARM/DSP platforms and collaborate across the product lifecycle.

The role offers a hybrid work model, a full-time contract, and access to Medicover benefits. You will join a multinational engineering and IT services leader delivering complex projects and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in C++ development for embedded platforms.
• Hands-on embedded systems experience and low-level programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain firmware for products.
• Design and implement software in C++ for ARM and DSP platforms.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Strong experience with C++ development (3+)
• Hands-on experience in embedded systems and low-level programming.
• Good understanding of system/software architecture and hardware interaction.
• Experience working with large, existing codebases.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Communicative level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with ARM and/or DSP processors.
• Knowledge of modern C++ standards.
• Experience with automated testing and test framework development.
• Background in telecommunications, radio systems, or embedded hardware products.
