Evotym is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to shape the next phase of a growing fintech platform. You will lead distributed engineering teams, guide platform evolution, and set standards for scalable, reliable delivery aligned with business goals.

Fluent English and Russian are required for international collaboration; the role emphasizes cloud-native architectures, API-driven platforms and a strong emphasis on security and compliance in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Significant executive-level experience in CTO/VP Eng or equivalent.
• Strong fintech/payments domain background is required or highly desirable.
• Proven track record building and scaling high-load, mission-critical platforms.
• Expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, microservices and APIs.
• Experience with cloud-native tech, DevOps and modern delivery practices.
• Experience leading distributed engineering teams and developing leaders.
• Strong focus on scalability, reliability, performance and security.
• Experience in regulated/compliance-sensitive environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Evolve platform architecture for scalability, resilience and maintainability.
• Guide engineering teams, develop leaders and establish clear ownership.
• Maintain system performance and availability as volumes grow.
• Set engineering standards and delivery practices balancing speed and quality.
• Advise on distributed systems, event-driven architectures and cloud-native tech.
• Oversee architectural decisions, debt and technology investments.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Security and business stakeholders.
