IG Group in Kraków is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage IFRS-based accounting for group entities, review revenue and costs, and ensure tax compliance in line with regulations.
You will work with senior finance colleagues across local and overseas offices, perform intercompany reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and drive process improvements using advanced Excel, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.

Accounting of individual entities according to IFRS, revenue and cost review and reconciliations, tax accounting in line with regulations, management analysis. Working closely with senior members of the wider finance department within IG Group local and overseas offices.
Preparation of management and financial accounts, including review and oversight of monthly results for group entities,
Standard bookings and review: purchase orders, invoices, prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, payments and cost analysis
Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of a strong financial control environment
Intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations and bookings in line with transfer pricing rules
Financial reporting in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS)
Management and coordination of indirect and operational tax related activities if required
Participation in process improvement projects and management analysis

Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in GL/RtR
Educational background - finance and accounting
Very good understanding of financial processes, financial statements and risks related to balance sheet positions
Advanced MS Excel skills
Accuracy, attention to detail and good analytical skills - the ability to seek and resolve daily financial and operational issues while focusing on addressing open issues independently and taking ownership to resolve matters
You need to be a team player who likes to work in an international environment
Excellent communication skills - the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance colleagues and stakeholders as well auditors
Experience in international environment / corporations will be an asset
