Job summary

INSTANT IMPACT is representing a leading global Financial Services firm in Kraków, Poland, recruiting an Accountant for a full-time role in the Client Role department. The position covers end-to-end accounting for international client entities, with emphasis on accuracy, regulatory reporting, and collaboration across jurisdictions.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance or equivalent qualification, around 2 years of accounting experience, and strong Excel, analytical, and communication

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics (or a related discipline) or be Part-Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA (or equivalent).
  • Circa 2 years' accounting experience within a professional services firm, fund administrator or financial services business.
  • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journals, debits and credits and general ledger postings.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and SUMIFS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing accounting records and maintaining accurate financial information for a portfolio of international client entities.
  • Reviewing, analysing and reconciling financial data from a variety of sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Posting accounting entries and supporting the preparation of trial balances and financial reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
  • Supporting the completion and submission of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and related documentation.
  • Working closely with colleagues across different jurisdictions to ensure a high standard of client service.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
