Job summary

The HEINEKEN Company in Kraków seeks an experienced finance governance professional to design, implement, and manage end-to-end governance for timewriting, budget management, CAPEX, and reporting across SAP and ServiceNow. The role requires strong data governance, process controls, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

You will drive continuous improvements, own master data quality, and advise project managers and finance stakeholders on standards, timelines and compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in finance process governance, accounting, audit, or planning/reporting in a complex matrix environment.
• Knowledge of SAP (TP1 preferred), ServiceNow, and data reporting tools.
• Strong analytical ability with demonstrated data interpretation and actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

The role is accountable for building, implementing and managing the end-to-end governance framework for timewriting, budget management, CAPEX and reporting across D&T. It defines process standards, controls, data requirements, roles and responsibilities to ensure that planning, budget releases, resource tariffs, master data, timewriting, CAPEX, amortization and related financial postings are complete, accurate, compliant and consistently embedded across ServiceNow, SAP and connected HR/master data processes. The role is responsible for continuous process improvements across GBC D&T with the scope of the most complex and material financial processes.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Governing key master data and process inputs required for accurate timewriting, managing budget, CAPEX and financial postings, ensuring consistency and data quality across ServiceNow, SAP, connected systems and accounting policies
• Owning data readiness for timewriting and financial postings, working with HR, GSD, platform teams, hiring managers and Finance stakeholders to ensure correct user onboarding, access, master data and system setup.
• Leading the review of resource time forecasts and actuals across cost centres, projects and portfolios, ensuring alignment between forecasts, approved budgets, released budgets and actual postings
• Governing budget release, snapshot and planning data processes, ensuring alignment between approved budgets, released values, portfolio cost data and reporting outputs. Ensure project data reconciliation between systems.
• Leading root-cause analysis and resolution of complex process issues, variances, control gaps and posting inconsistencies, ensuring timely escalation, clear ownership and visibility of financial impact
• Acting as senior subject matter expert for timewriting and ServiceNow budget governance and CAPEX advising Project Managers, Business Controllers and Finance stakeholders on standards, controls, timelines and compliant ways of working
• Driving continuous improvement of the end-to-end process, including onboarding and ticket workflows, control framework, WoW, RACI, escalation paths and automation opportunities with GTO, ServiceNow and SAP teams
• Creating and maintaining process documentation, governance standards, RACI, and ways of working (WoW) for the timewriting, CAPEX and ServiceNow budget processes, ensuring proper knowledge management within D&T GBC
• Designing new reports and maintenance of existing ones (PBI)
• Building and owning CAPEX process, both from project and financial side, including actuals reporting and RoFo/AP, audit
• DBB amortization ownership - calculation, update, review of assets, EIA reporting
• Supervision over all P&CI controls performed in GBC D&T
• Owning GBC D&T CPI agenda, acting as CPI Lead including good practice sharing for other functions
• Building and maintaining onboarding process and internal training for GBC D&T team members
• Ownership of the internal and external audit agenda for the respective scope
• Performing additional tasks and ad hoc activities assigned by the Financial Controller

You are a good candidate if you have:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or related field. 8+ years of relevant experience, including experience in finance process governance, accounting, audit, business control support, financial systems, master data/process integrity, or planning/reporting operations in a complex matrix environment Solid accounting knowledge including group reporting experience Strong analytical capability; able to interpret data, perform root cause analysis, and translate findings into actionable improvements. Hands-on experience with tools such as SAP (preferably TP1), ServiceNow, and Excel/Power BI Process improvement excellence with focus on simplification and automation Experience with navigating cross-functional issues and resolving systemic errors.
