Our Business Controlling Renewables Teams is looking for You!
Your responsibilities
- Own end-to-end finance operations for the Polish entities (accounting, tax, reporting) and act as the local Finance Business Partner for the Renewables Team, working in close alignment with the local Managing Director
- Ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations (UoR/Polish GAAP) and coordinate statutory bookkeeping
- Coordinate annual statutory financial statements and related filings in Poland; manage the audit process with external auditors, tax advisors and legal
- Prepare and deliver management reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow), budgeting and forecasting for Poland in close alignment with the Group Finance teams in Germany
- Manage liquidity and cash planning for Polish legal entities
- Ensure tax compliance in Poland: oversee CIT, VAT (incl. JPK_V7), WHT and other local obligations; liaise with tax advisors and tax authorities as needed
- Drive process improvements and strong internal controls; serve as the key interface to Group functions (Finance, Tax, Treasury, Legal) in Germany
Your profile
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance
- Very good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations (UoR/Polish GAAP); IFRS knowledge is a plus
- Hands-on knowledge of Polish taxes (CIT, VAT/JPK, WHT); experience with tax advisors and audits is an advantage
- Good command of ERP/financial systems (SAP), BI tools are a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate finance topics into clear recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
- Proactive, independent working style; comfortable in a small-company environment and in cross-border cooperation with Group functions in Germany
- Strong communication skills, fluent Polish and very good English (daily cooperation with Germany); ACCA/CIMA or statutory accountant qualification is a plus
Location: Szczecin. Regular office presence is expected; hybrid work is possible. Remote work from within Poland can be considered depending on the candidate’s experience and the business needs.
