We are currently looking for an experienced professional to take on the role of:Finance Manager
Location: Warsaw
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full scope of financial operations in Poland, including accounting, controlling, budgeting, reporting, audits, tax matters, and cash management
- Ensure accurate and timely quarterly and annual financial reporting in line with group policies and local regulations
- Provide financial insights and guidance to support both operational and strategic initiatives, assessing their impact on the organization.
- Collaborate closely with Group Finance teams (project finance, controlling, modelling, treasury, consolidation) to ensure proper alignment and delivery of all financial aspects for Polish entities
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects such as ERP implementation, process improvements, and reporting enhancements.
- Develop, implement and monitor long-term business plans and performance reports to support the company’s growth in a fast-evolving energy market.
- Build, lead and mentor a local finance team with the skills and expertise needed to support ongoing development and compliance with group standards.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel) and ERP systems.
- Fluent in English – daily cooperation with finance departments in Belgium and France.
- Master’s degree in economics and/or finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling and team management.
- Experience in the energy, infrastructure sector, or capital-intensive industry.
- Solid knowledge of Polish GAAP and IFRS.
- Good communication and negotiation skills and a sharp analytical mind.
Nice to Have:
- Good command of French is a plus.
- Experience with Polish tax regulations is a strong plus.
