Job summary

Ishida Europe Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service and support our equipment across the Central and Eastern Europe region. You will be responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnosis, ensuring equipment performance and reliability.

The role requires travelling extensively, strong technical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service and training.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Experience in installation, commissioning, maintenance or field service engineering.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and validate Ishida equipment at customer sites.
• Provide on-site technical support, preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimise downtime and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Deliver customer training on equipment operation and best practices.
• Promote service contracts across the installed base.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Technical teams to resolve issues.
• Manage customer relationships and report progress and outcomes.
