Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for the specialty restaurant. You will oversee culinary operations, lead staff, manage menus, purchasing, and food preparation while ensuring sanitation, quality and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in culinary, food & beverage, or related area; or
• 2-year degree from an accredited institution in Culinary Arts, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related major with 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and designs new applications, ideas, relationships or systems for the specialty restaurant.
• Supervises kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with F&B policies and standards.
• Maintains proper food preparation, handling and storage standards.
• Plans and manages food quantities and plating requirements for the specialty restaurant.
• Assists in developing daily and seasonal menu items.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations; proper food temperatures.
• Prepares and cooks foods as required; checks quality of raw and cooked items.
• Leads and evaluates kitchen staff to maintain productivity and quality.
