Job summary

Move Intermodal in Warsaw is seeking an International Freight Forwarder to lead chartering of loads worldwide, with a strong focus on Europe, and to collaborate across departments for optimal operations.

Required: Bachelor degree in logistics or 3+ years in a similar role, excellent English, and solid knowledge of European transport rules. Proactive problem solving, communication, and MS Office proficiency are essential; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics or equivalent professional experience in freight forwarding (3+ years)
• Very good knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• German/French/Italian knowledge considered a plus
• Strong geographical knowledge and knowledge of transport legislation in Europe
• Excellent communication, analytical and pro-active problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Charter loads globally with focus on Europe and manage freight flows
• Initiate new traffics where possible
• Communicate daily with other departments about imbalances
• Determine sales prices for loads to be chartered
• Monitor market fluctuations and chartering rates
• Provide cost prices to sales/account management and maintain carrier relations
• Determine best transport solutions and instruct drivers and charters
• Update data in the TMS and follow up transports
