Job summary

Ravago seeks an EU VAT Compliance Specialist to ensure VAT is handled correctly and on time across group companies. This hands-on role covers VAT reporting, process improvements, and close cooperation with finance teams as a true business partner.

The position is based in the Warsaw area with an expectation to work from the office three days per week and communicates in English and Polish across Europe for tooling rollouts and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in VAT compliance, tax or accounting.
• Understands EU VAT regulations and processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and VAT reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage day-to-day indirect tax compliance (VAT returns, Intrastat, SAF-T) and ensure timely filing.
• Support and maintain VAT reporting tools, including rollout across Europe.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on VAT compliance matters.
• Monitor VAT positions of European entities (payments, refunds).
• Cooperate with local finance teams on new VAT requirements.
• Support internal and external VAT audits.
