Job summary

Westwing is seeking a Junior Tax Specialist for its Warsaw Finance team to ensure VAT compliance and provide expert guidance for our growing e-commerce business. You will manage VAT reporting, cross-border obligations, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to keep tax processes compliant and efficient.

The role supports Polish and EU VAT regulations, including Intrastat reporting, with opportunities to drive automation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related field with initial indirect tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Polish and EU VAT regulations, incl. Intrastat reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Prepare VAT returns, EC Sales Lists, Intrastat, SAF-T, and other local filings.
• Provide VAT advisory on legislation impacts and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate VAT audits with authorities and internal teams.
• Lead VAT process improvements and data quality enhancements.
