Job summary

Varonis Systems, Inc. is seeking an Escalation Engineer (Tier-IV) to join our growing team in Poland.

In this role you will investigate complex code-level issues, write Python, analyze logs and database performance, and implement fixes deployed to customer environments. You will collaborate with Development, Product, and Customer Success to deliver solutions with real impact, act as an expert for resolved issues, and help drive product improvements based on field feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional Python development.
• Strong SQL skills with complex query and performance optimization.
• Proven track record debugging multi-layered technical problems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Comfortable switching between different technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across our product.
• Write Python code.
• Analyze logs, database performance, and system behavior to identify root causes.
• Implement fixes deployed directly to customer environments.
• Serve as a technical expert for resolved customer issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to suggest product improvements.
• Create documentation and diagnostic tools for support teams.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
