Job summary

Varonis is seeking a highly motivated Escalation Engineer (Tier-IV) in Kraków, Poland. You will investigate complex code-level issues, write Python, analyze logs and databases, and deliver fixes deployed directly to customer environments.

You’ll interact with development teams to drive product improvements and create diagnostic tools for support. The role offers deep technical breadth, autonomy, and the opportunity to impact customers and the product while expanding your expertise across systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience developing Python
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and database performance optimization
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work independently and resolve problems with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues across the product stack
• Write Python code to implement fixes and patches
• Analyze application logs, database performance, and system behavior to identify root causes
• Collaborate with development teams to identify product improvements
• Create documentation and diagnostic tools for support teams
• Clearly communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
