Job summary

HERE Technologies, Kraków, seeks a Tech Lead Fullstack Engineer to build core backend systems powering agentic AI solutions for logistics. You will own the core service layer, APIs, workflows, and HERE integrations, delivering production‑ready, scalable software.

You’ll mentor engineers, design resilient architectures, and collaborate with product and domain experts to ship end‑to‑end features with reliable performance and AI‑driven capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a technical lead or senior engineer owning end‑to‑end systems.
• Strong backend development skills with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience architecting scalable services and distributed systems.
• API design, data modeling, and integration patterns including streaming APIs.
• Hands‑on with agentic AI systems and LLM orchestration.
• Cloud experience (AWS) and modern CI/CD practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code/design reviews.
• Excellent communication aligning engineering with product goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, build, and maintenance of core backend services and APIs for logistics apps.
• Drive integrations with HERE APIs and third‑party systems.
• Translate requirements into scalable system components and mentor teammates.
• Write clean, well‑tested code in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Design and build AI systems using LangGraph and LLM orchestration.
• Lead architectural decisions aligning with system vision.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of customer‑facing APIs.
• Oversee production testing, monitoring, and debugging of non‑deterministic systems.
