Job summary

Veralto is seeking a Manager for Agentic AI to lead the engineering of a shared platform enabling AI-powered workflows. You will manage a team, shape technical direction, and own significant platform areas in collaboration with product, architecture, and cloud teams.

You will work with product engineering, security, and management to translate needs into platform capabilities, driving reliability and adoption across multiple product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar language.
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing engineers, including line management and coaching.
• Experience building a platform, API, or shared service used by multiple teams.
• Experience designing or building production AI systems with LLMs, tooling, or agentic workflows.
• Track record taking uncertain technical ideas to production.
• Ability to balance platform coherence with product/domain differences.
• Experience collaborating across product engineering, architecture, security, and business functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Agentic AI engineering team with clear goals and coaching.
• Contribute to design, implementation, and operation of large areas of the shared Agentic AI platform.
• Shape platform direction, architecture, interfaces, and quality bar.
• Translate product and engineering needs into reusable platform capabilities.
• Establish engineering practices for reliability, security, observability, and performance.
• Support adoption of the shared platform by domain teams from exploration to production.
• Foster an environment for experimentation with accountable production outcomes.
• Define measures of adoption, quality, performance, delivery, and team development.
